  • Research intern from Amsterdam join the TAT group

    [15 Jan 2018] Marjolein Verhoeven is a master student from the Netherlands studying oncology and medical physics at the VU University in Amsterdam. As final part of these programmes she is joining the TAT group for a one semester internship. Marjolein says that "Since my interests are both in cancer research and medical imaging, the field of targeted alpha therapy suits me perfectly". The work she will be doing in the group focusses on quantification of radiolabeled antibodies utilized for targeted alpha therapy using alpha camera imaging.

  • Tom Bäck invited speaker at WFNMB

    [27 Nov 2017] Tom Bäck has been invited as an International Faculty Speaker of the 12th Congress of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (WFNMB) to be held 20-24 April 2018 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Congress of the WFNMB is a quadrennial global meeting, with the theme of this Congress being ¿Global Translation of Molecular Medicine¿ which aims to incorporate the translation of basic laboratory research to clinical practice, establishment of clinical and technical standards, and the translation of molecular medical technology to developing countries for the benefit of patients worldwide.

  • New diploma worker within PRIT

    [24 Jan 2017] Johan Almgren from the masters program Nuclear Science and Technology at Chalmers University of Technology has started his one semester (30 credits) diploma work within the TAT group this January. He will work on polylysine based Pretargeted Radioimmunoteharpy (PRIT).
